I was getting bored being at home all the time, so Mum and Dad decided that we should get out and visit Max and Liz

They were really happy to finally see me!

There are a few Tamar’s in the Old Testament of the Bible, but they are all descendants of the Tamar from Genesis 38.
Her story is one of desiring to be a part of God’s people. She originally did not know God and was a stranger to his promises, however when her opportunity came, she longed to be included with God’s people and struggled to obtain her inheritance. God’s grace met her. God’s grace pardoned her sin and gave her a share in the greatest honour a woman could have — a place in the Messiah’s family. (see Matthew 1:3)

Our prayer for Tamar is that she too may seek God’s promise and be met with God’s grace.
